TRAIL COURTESY
The Old Ghost Road is a shared trail for the use and enjoyment of a range of users. No one user group has exclusive use and rights. It has been designed from its inception with this in mind. Trail etiquette is founded on respect and first and foremost requires that:
Users respect each other and take the lead on courtesy and giving way – don’t expect or wait for someone else to. Help make others’ experience an enjoyable one.
The Old Ghost Road trail etiquette also requires that:
Users respect the rules (e.g. be prepared, plan for the unexpected, obey safety requirements and warnings); and
Users respect the trail (e.g. don’t skid, cut corners or make new lines, clean your bike and equipment/footwear to prevent spreading weeds and didymo).
